Introduction
The CEE/ARI Verified Directory identifies a list of products (less than 65 Mbtuh) that the manufacturer represents as meeting energy performance tiers established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) as part of the Residential Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Initiative and the High-Efficiency Commercial Air Conditioning Initiative. These Initiatives make use of tiers to differentiate equipment on the basis of energy performance with a higher tier representing a higher level of claimed performance. Additional information on these CEE Initiatives can be found at www.CEE1.org.
All products identified by the Directory are ENERGY STARĀ® qualified, a distinction granted by the US Environmental Protection Agency for energy efficient central air-conditioning and heat pump equipment. More information on ENERGY STAR can be found at www.energystar.gov

Use of Directory
The use of this Directory is subject to the Terms of Service governing the CEE Website. This directory is intended to provide efficiency performance information to assist HVAC contractors, consumers, and efficiency program managers to make informed equipment selection decisions. The directory enables a user to sort equipment by any of the identified information fields, provided below:
- ARI Reference Number
- Split or Packaged (Split systems have two separate components, an outdoor condenser and
an indoor evaporator. Packaged units combine both components into one
unit).
- Model Number
- Manufacturer
- Brand
- Power Phase (single-phase-normal for residential, or 3-phase-normal for commercial)
- Cooling Capacity
- Heating Capacity
- CEE Tier
- SEER
- HSPF
To access the Directory, follow these instructions:
1. Click on the button "HVAC Directory" at the top of the page.
2. Select equipment type: Air Conditioners or Heat Pumps.
3. Choose the information fields that you wish to sort by.
- Leaving all fields blank will provide the largest possible list of products.
- Filling in one or more fields will narrow the search accordingly.
- If your search yields no results, no products meet the specified criteria.
You may wish to try the search again, widening the search criteria or leaving some fields blank. The CEE Specifications for both residential and commercial applications are noted below.

About CEE
The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), a nonprofit public benefits corporation, develops national initiatives to promote the manufacture and purchase of energy-efficient products and services. Our goal is to induce lasting structural and behavioral changes in the marketplace, resulting in the increased adoption of energy-efficient technologies.
About ARI
The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) is the national trade association representing manufacturers of more than 90 percent of North American produced central air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment. ARI's national headquarters is located in Arlington, Virginia. ARI traces its history back to 1903 when it started as the Ice Machine Builders of the United States. ARI was formed in 1953 through a merger of two related trade associations. Since that time, several other related trade associations have merged into ARI, making it the strong association that it is today. Over the past 45 years, ARI has emerged as the major voice for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
